Stakeholder interviews and a three-day community workshop were held in 2011 to discuss potential station improvements in coordination with local transportation enhancement and community economic development efforts.

-- Bolster safety (e.g., lighting, platform surfaces) and security
-- Improve accessibility to westbound platform, and overall ADA accessibility
-- Expand parking
-- Designate pick-up and drop-off areas
-- Improve pedestrian and vehicular access
-- Strengthen connections to the central business district
PennDOT plans to reexamine potential improvements as part of its long-term planning of the Keystone Line.
